Harrogate born, Sarah began her career in media advertising within the Yorkshire Post group before moving into Commercial radio which was the start of a varied management career across North and West Yorkshire working with the Guardian Media Group (GMG), Radio Investments, The Local Radio Company (TLRC) and the UKRD Group Ltd as Managing Director of Harrogate’s Stray FM which went on to become the most successful commercial radio stations of its size in the UK.
Multi award-winning, Stray FM and the UKRD group were ranked No 1 Best Company to work for in the Sunday Times Best Companies Top 100 list, in four consecutive years.
In September 2021, Sarah joined Harrogate Town AFC as CEO. Harrogate Town AFC competes in the fourth tier of English football (EFL League 2) having been promoted from the National League in the 2019-20 season.
