Thanks to the support and generosity of individuals and organisations, Willow is able to continue to provide special day experiences for more young adults like Carl. Carl is 17 and has a bone tumour. He has spent the past year having intensive treatment including chemotherapy and surgery. Carl and his Dad are big Chelsea fans and have always wanted to spend the night at the Chelsea FC Hotel, Stamford Bridge. After a tough year, Willow arranged for the pair to spend the night at their dream hotel, tickets to a Chelsea v QPR match including the full hospitality package with a superb breakfast. To top off the experience, Carl was ushered to the players tunnel where he posed for photographs with the players and had the chance to get all important autographs.
The anticipation of this 'money can't buy' experience has given Carl something positive to focus on during his gruelling treatment. And the chance to share something so special with his Dad has created memories to treasure forever.
