As Equality Advisor to the Board of the FA Premier League, Paul led the development and implementation of the No Room for Racism Action Plan. He chairs the panel which assesses the progress of Clubs against the requirements of the Premier League Equality Diversity and Inclusion Standard.
Prior to that he was a partner at PwC, the global professional services firm, where he served on the Management Boards of the firm in both the UK and in Africa and provided corporate finance advice on a wide range of projects including the financing of stadiums at Arsenal, Wembley and Ascot Racecourse.
Outside football he is a Non-Executive Board Member at Metropolitan Police. He has for many years been involved in diversity and inclusion in business and was awarded the OBE for his work in that area in the 2020 New Year’s Honours List.
